Angus Council is responsible for delivering essential services across our communities. Angus Conservatives are working hard to ensure the council is run efficiently, supports local businesses, and provides high-quality public services while keeping council tax fair.
Angus Council consists of 28 councillors representing communities across the county. It covers eight wards, from coastal towns to rural villages. The council is responsible for key services, including education, roads, waste management, planning and local economic development.
We are committed to standing up for residents and ensuring Angus prospers. Our key priorities include investing in infrastructure to improve roads, transport, and broadband connectivity, protecting frontline services such as education, healthcare, and public safety, backing businesses and jobs to strengthen the local economy and create opportunities, and keeping council tax fair by ensuring responsible financial management and value for money.
Our councillors work hard to represent communities across Angus, ensuring that local voices are heard and that public services meet the needs of residents. We challenge wasteful spending and push for better governance to make Angus a better place to live and work.
