Louise Nicol is a Scottish Conservative and Unionist councillor for Arbroath West, Letham and Friockheim.
She lives locally in Letham and has long been involved in community life across the ward, including previously serving on the Letham Community Council. That local experience continues to inform her work as a councillor, with a strong focus on listening to residents and representing everyday concerns at Angus Council.
Louise serves as Vice-Convenor of the Civic Licensing Committee and is a member of the Family, Education and Justice Committee and the Policy and Resources Committee, giving her an active role in decisions affecting local services, schools, licensing and the council’s overall finances. She also represents Angus on a number of external bodies, including the Angus Health & Social Care Integration Joint Board, where she is Vice Chair.
As a local councillor, Louise is committed to practical, community-focused representation and ensuring that Arbroath West, Letham and Friockheim receive fair attention within council decision-making.
